And the Pantone Colour of the Year 2010 is...

Yes, it's that time of year again ! For the past 2 years we've been shedding the light to our blog readers on what the Pantone colour of the year is. But why? Well, not just for fashion reference - Pantone is THE institution in colour referencing the world over. Highly respected in their field, Pantone know a thing about colours so when they announce their colour of the year, its big news. Enough of the suspense...this year's colour is...

Pantone 15-5519 Turquoise! A big change to the colour of '09 which was Mimosa - a warm and 'optimistic' colour, symbolising hope in a time of worry. This time around it's all a bit brighter. So - product has already started to trickle through in this colour way - keep your eyes out for more and remember where you heard it first!
